baby banz

Dylan had soo much fun in Puerto Vallarta! It made the whole passport madness totally worth it (in a nutshell, Dylan’s passport wasn’t processed in time and we burned 2 days on countless phone calls to the passport agency and on an eleventh hour appointment at the Passport Agency in SF! We missed our original flight and thus paid a premium for the days we were in Mexico!).

He had so much fun playing in the ocean and in the sand, swimming in the pool, drinking strawberry daquiries, playing with his cousins, and so much more!

As for the shades, he didn’t actually want to wear them (so sad for me)…but he did want to try on grandpa’s and lola’s. Go figger!

Tom and I had our fun, too. We kayaked and did another canopy tour (much like the one we did in Costa Rica) with Rob and Chris, and I got my swanky, swanky massage on the spa terrace (where I could listen to the ocean)!

We took a million photos, a few of which are posted on flickr….

a day out
Originally uploaded by coffywoman.

It was another beautiful day and Mark, Yu-chien and baby Eleanor were in town, so after a brunch of yummy pancakes and fruit salad, we headed out for the park and a walk along the Yacht Harbor to Seabright Beach.

Dylan loves seeing doggies out and about. They make him smile and giggle!

Oh, I forgot to mention…Dylan can clap his hands (he started being able to do this just last week…little baby Eleanor already can, too)! We also started giving him props for signing “hat….”

It was a gorgeous Thursday and Cindy and I kid-swapped in the PM (so I could do work and so she could visit the acupuncturist)! While she was getting stuck with a bunch of needles, I took the kids to the beach! They found all sorts of “clues” (to what, I don’t know), climbed logs, checked out seaweed, and laid down in the sand.

Dylan just stayed in the carrier and took it all in…!
