standing tall
Chloe is really, really, really into pulling herself up into a standing position. And now that she’s doing this so often, I’m noticing how tall she’s getting–almost to the top of the gates already!!

the Flaming Fireballs’ goalie 09/22
Oh, now I see (thank goodness for timestamped photos)…we had soccer after apple-picking.
That week, Dylan was goalie for part of the game!! I was really worried he would get his feelings hurt if the other team scored (and they did, but he also blocked a couple of attempts!), but his team was great.
After the game, several of his teammates told him he did a great job!
He was awesome…even though he kept wanting to throw the ball to us (on the sidelines) instead of his team!

apple picking at Gizdich – 09/22
We actually went apple-picking a couple of weeks ago, but I am only now getting to pictures!
This is pre-school’s annual fall excursion, and I’m glad that we could go. Since Cameron is only there 2 half-days a week and she was hardly there during my maternity leave, she’s not nearly as close to the kids in her group as Dylan was to his (he was in full-time). But, she is definitely interested in having her own pals, and it was nice for her to be able to see her school buddies (Owen, Mattias, Jada, Molly).
It was an incredibly HOT day, but we had fun picking anyway. I think afterwards, we went to a bday party for Nate’s little sister Camille.
