We’ve been lucky that Tom doesn’t have to drive over the hill every single day! But on the days that he does, he’s really good about spending a little time with the Boy first. Here, Tom was having Dylan slide down his legs and then “jump” back up to his knees….
You can see that the Boy’s legs are definitely plumping up! And, he is definitely growing stronger.
A few days after Dylan rolled over, I started experimenting with propping him into a sitting position and then also pulling him up by his arms from a lying down position to a sitting position…he held his head up with no problems. He’s also showing promising signs of being able to roll over from back to tummy — when he’s on his back, he can really swivel his little hips around from side to side!
These days, Dylan is staying awake a lot, a lot longer, too — we seem to get up around 7-8am and he doesn’t nap until after 12pm — and, just like his dad, he is very, very talkative!
