I forgot to mention that we also saw Auntie Heather and Taliana on Easter weekend. The Easter Bunny left a Treasure Map Note for the kids! They had to find three egg-shaped objects and report them back to the grown-ups; name three bunny facts (eat carrots, have long ears, they hop!); and, finally, they had to hop like a bunny rabbit all the way to the back door where, lo and behold, some Easter treats were found!
The next morning, as soon as he woke up, Dylan asked Tom and I if the Easter bunny visited our house (and, lo and behold, he did in fact leave a small basket of goodies behind) and, later on in the day, over at Lola’s house, he heard the washing machine thumping away and declared, “Uh! I think I hear the Easter Bunny” (and that’s when we commenced the indoor egg hunt)!
