nana!

Dylan said “banana!” Alright, alright. I know it isn’t much, but since we’re his parents, we’re impressed…!

Anyway, it’s busy, busy, busy now that Music Together has started up again and I’m still going into the office 4 days a week. I miss those Mondays and Wednesdays of yore when I was working from home and could see him whenever I wanted to!

He definitely has Tooth #8 coming in — it’s on the bottom and will make his lowers symmetrical once more. He’s also getting pickier with the eating, although, oddly enough, we have more trouble getting him to eat things like rice and pasta than we do fruits and veggies! He still loves broccoli, string beans, spinach, tomatoes…and all manner of fruit!

These days, he’s more into hugging his stuffed animals (Theodore, Sylvester, Winnie the Pooh) than he’s ever been, and he’s also entering that tantrum stage (egads).

What else? He loves playing with his daddy! Every night, they “fall down” on the papasan cushion in our room and roll around and laugh! He also thinks it’s a riot when we smell his feet and say, “p.u.” and when we pretend one of his stuffed animals is having a tantrum while having its diaper changed (but, tonight, he rescued Sylvester from his diaper change; after I’d finished putting a diaper on Sylvester, he took it off, then picked up Sylvester, hugged him to his chest, and ran off!).

Oh, and he gives the best hugs ever….
