We got to take Taliana to Tammy’s Halloween party with us and she gave us a preview of her Cheshire Cat costume! We didn’t out fit our own kids in their full costumes, but Dylan brought his hat and his pocketwatch….

The kids just loved the party. There were games (darts, smashing plates with balls, air hockey) in back, a Minecraft button scavenger hunt, and a craft table where kids could decorate their own treat bags. It was awesome.

And, super-thoughtful Tammy also bought vegan marshmallows and chocolate so we could make s’mores with the rest of the party-goers. Cameron clearly enjoyed.

Oh, and another bonus: got to see some other good friends and former co-workers (Tammy, Wendy, Giovanna and I all worked at AOL together)–this is Giovanna, Wendy’s beau James, Wendy, and their buddy Jackie.

Tammy also had the most amazing haunted house! Her son Matthew is older now, so it’s getting scarier (and our kids have greater sensitivity to this kind of stuff, too)! Here are some more pictures:

And one last picture of roasting marshmallows!! I really think this roasting over a firepit at home thing is getting really popular! Tammy had the great idea of using charcoal instead of wood — no sparks!!
