This past weekend was another busy one. On Friday, Dylan spent the night at HAKT’s house. He now goes to their house after school on Fridays, partly to facilitate sleep-over plans like this! I will also say that it was the kids’ idea (Taliana’s and Dylan’s) to switch their CKC days from Thursday to Friday so that they could “get started on their weekends early” (nearly verbatim…)
The next day, we sped up to Crest Ranch to get our holiday trees and then sped back down to get ready for my company’s holiday party.
I love these parties. It’s our second one and it’s alllll about the kids.
They had all sorts of different kinds of gingerbread kits (house, village, fairy tale castle, train, gingerbread people, large and small!)…
There was a magic show and a balloon guy who made a pony, some snow people, a bow and arrow and a giant flower for our kids (and lots of other stuff for the other kids as well!).
There was so much stuff on our table, we had to spill over to the table next to us once dinner was served!
And, of course, Santa came…with presents straight off their wish list.
Dylan had zero Santa fear. He remembered he got exactly what he asked for last year (walkie talkies), so he couldn’t wait to open his gift.
Also, he wanted to get in close so he could inspect the beard.
Cameron was still a little shy.
But, she loved her gifts!
After all of that excitement, the kids went back to activities. Dylan and I made awesome ornaments with glass enamel paints. Even Tom made one! Then the kids went back to the sugar.
Tom was the life of the party! The kids told me he was snoozing and they had to keep whacking him
I was outside listening to Philippe give his annual company speech when the kids and Tom were in the big conference room, but I caught him when I came to get them!
Poor Chloe was seriously teething, but she is cute anyway.
The kids had so much fun and it was so nice to see them be so comfortable in the work space. Even Cameron wanted to get her own drinks all by herself!
