We’ve had quite an eventful 3 weeks here what with everyone but Chloe cycling through flu of varying severity.
It started with Dylan (in retrospect, I think he had flu) who was up and down for basically a whole school week. While he was in the midst of the Sick, Cameron had a 1-day fever (probably a mild case of the flu because she’d been vaccinated).
It was exhausting when the kids were sick, but then Tom was downed for an entire week after they were all back to good.
I’d been managing to stave it off–or, so I thought, but I ended up getting it last. As of this evening, I’m on Day 6, though today’s fevers were really sporadic and I’m not experiencing the chills anymore.
I’m grateful that it bypassed Chloe entirely! She has her own issues to contend with as it is what with several new teeth poking through!
Now that we’re all leaving the yuck behind us, we can look forward to celebrating Chloe’s first birthday and other happy moments!
