This is Cameron’s shumamagu hat. I don’t remember exactly when she came up with this term, but I do know it was in existence around Halloween because she had it spelled out on some goodie bag she got to decorate somewhere!!
Around bedtime–always around bedtime while trying to do the night time routine–Shumamagu comes out. She tears across the room taunting us with “Shumamagu is too fast for you!!”, evading our arms. Sometimes, she streaks across the room naked. But, this hat, which she so despised previously is now totally beloved and now referred to as the Shumamagu hat!!
Where do these kids come up with this stuff?!
