Griff celebrated his 4th birthday the day after our campout!! We woke up a little on the late side around 8am, and were pretty leisurely about our morning. I thought the party was at 1pm and then was horrified to discover (at 11:35am) that it actually started at 10am!!!
We hustled over there and got there close to 1pm, but luckily, everyone was still there, enjoying the park and the very pleasant weather.
We got finger paint for Griff (with whom we’ve taken some Studio Sprout art classes) and he busted them open during the party!! So, here he is with his daddy, clutching one of the “accessories.”
This year, the big kids did a LOT of tree-climbing!
Even Chloe wanted to get in on the action!
She also said apple (“ap-bull”) for the first time and she neighed when we saw horses and “bock bock bocked” at the chickens!
