Dylan just ended his first session of an art class at the Tannery Arts Center here in town. Jenny and I have been stealing away from work early to get in a short PM run while Dylan is in class. But, for the last class, Jenny’s family was out of town, and I am injured (possible stress fracture, but hopefully just shin splints), so I dropped him off then went to get the girls.
Luckily, there is a nice, little playground there, so while we waited, the girls played…and I couldn’t help but take a few pictures!
Chloe has been climbing like a monkey for a while now, but she also has a more cautious side. Normally, she likes to hold my hands when she goes down a slide…or go with someone else, but this slide was little enough that she was able to muster up enough courage to try it out on her own (and now she’s going down the big slides at the school!)! Cameron even taught her how to climb UP the slide! Anyway, it was very sweet to watch them play together. And, it was also nice for me and my leg that the play structure was manageable enough for Chloe to handle without me chasing her around!
