It’s hard to believe Cameron’s time at preschool is already up! The ceremony was similar to Dylan’s–the kids read and sang their poetry, sang “Make New Friends, but Keep the Old” and placed wish candles on their classmate’s graduation brownies.
Although Cameron has missed a giant chunk of practice time (since they practice in the morning and she’s been at dance camp all summer), she performed her poems and songs flawlessly! And, I recognized a few lines that even Chloe had been saying to me at night (“close your eyes, do not peek”)!
This was another amazingly sweet bunch of kids. Of course, Jada is her best pal, but the love is mutual between her and Owen and Mattias as well!
I had few opportunities to take pictures as I was yapping away with parents, but afterwards, I stayed with the kids at the park and Dylan rode around for hours (he’s bike-obsessed these days!) and Cameron and Chloe alternated between the play structure and trying their own bikes. It was a good day, never mind that I didn’t get any work done!
