I still tend to save my PTO for things like field trips, unexpected illness, etc, but I opted to take a couple of days off from work so I could spend some time with them over their break. On the first day of their break, though, I was at work so we met for lunch! They were with Nadja, who also happened to have her 9-year old sister with her (she was also on spring break), so it was kind of like a long play date, punctuated with a lunch break!
Seeing the kiddies is always a highlight of my day!
