This year, I had to make the “hard” choice of skipping Cameron’s Halloween party in favor of Dylan’s. Their party and parade times didn’t quite overlap, but we would have had to leave Cameron’s party just as it was starting (right after the parade) and I thought that she’d probably be unhappy about it, so I opted to just take her to Dylan’s school party instead (and didn’t mention her parade and party to her at all).
Luckily, Mrs. Presleigh was absolutely fine with having Cameron join us and, luckily, Cameron was just great at school. She was extremely well-behaved and patient! She was there for a full school day!!!
And, here’s our handsome White Rabbit. I wanted to take a picture of both kids in the morning just in case their costumes got trashed over the course of the day!

So, after K’s bday, we mosied on over to Auntie Christina’s for a sleepover!! Auntie Cindy, Jason and Tyler and Lola and Grandpa Mike all showed up to have dinner and hang out!!
Auntie Christina bought little pumpkins for the kids to paint. It was so thoughtful!
Lola and Chloe entertained one another.
Then, the next day, we went to an early AM bday party for Christina’s adorable godson Marcus at the bounce house place (Pump It Up).
Here’s Marcus in his superhero outfit!
Cameron took a break from her tantrums to have a little fun (phew!)
Dylan, of course, almost always has fun no matter where he is!
And Tom, well, he took off with Jess’s mask and never gave it back!! I guess he had fun, too!
Somewhere in there, we celebrated K.’s 6th birthday with a very fun fairy party at HAT’s house.
The kids made fairy wings and wands…
…the dads blew up some balloons for games…
…and the little people socialized and enjoyed.
Also, Heather made this fairy completely out of fondant!
Now, this little girl is just growing way too fast. It’s hard to believe she’s already 8 and a half months old! She’s a pro at pulling herself up and she’s showing some eagerness to start cruising. And, she’s just as sweet as can be. She laughs easily and loves to play and she gets so excited whenever she sees Dylan and Cameron! She so often looks like one or the other, but she also has her own distinctive look.
She really is as sweet as she looks!
More pictures from soccer games past…These are from 10/14.
Dylan got to do the kick-off.
Improving week over week…and running tons! We are loving it. Oh, and I really apologize. I know these shots are redundant and they’d probably be a teeny bit more interesting if they weren’t all posted at once, but I’m awake NOW! And the rest of the kids are asleep (Chloe is in the Ergo as I type) and I’m waiting for cupcakes to come out of the oven, so now’s my chance to update!
The last time we had practice at the beach, it was gorgeous, but windy (and we saw tons of dolphins, too!). This time, it was gorgeous (a given) and the weather was perfect.
Also, Cameron was with us! We couldn’t do homework at Kind Grind beforehand, so we just got some Italian sodas to quench our thirst and headed to the beach to do some pre-practice playing. So, without further ado, here are a few more pictures from the afternoon.
Incidentaly, Cameron really wants to play soccer. Can’t wait to enroll her in a session–maybe summer time–providing she’s still interested!
Here are a few pictures from Dylan’s soccer game a couple of weeks ago. He’s definitely improving, but there’s still a whole lot of checkin’ out the thumbnails, looking anywhere but at the ball, etc.! The awesome thing is that he just loves it…!
