Last weekend, Tom and Assaf rocked the SJ half-marathon. Since they carpooled, I let the kids sleep in a bit before hustling them out the door to the Light Rail Station. Both kids were so excited about riding the train that neither of them gave me any trouble getting ready at all!
Also, quite luckily, Auntie Christina wanted to see the kids, so she met us at the Light Rail station…and thank goodness for that. I had the stroller with me and, after sitting in it on the platform for a whopping 2 minutes or something, Cameron wanted out. So, by the time the train got there, I was out of hands for both kids and the stroller!
We got there in plenty of time to meet the guys at the finish line, and after grabbing a bite to eat at P.F. Chang’s, we headed to Lola’s house for a brief visit.
She hasn’t seen Dylan since kindergarten started, so she was super stoked to see him again (and vice versa!). He didn’t want to leave!!!
Oh! Also, this past weekend, Jeff’s niece, Lauren, celebrated her 16th birthday which meant that Jason and Tyler came into town! They arrived a little early and all of the kids (Taliana and P. included) went biking before we joined Cindy and the boys for the party at Bruce and Jennifer’s house.
Here are some pictures…
