spooning good singing gum

Dylan has become one of those few kindergartners who learn “Ring of Fire” in school. He’s been pulling out his ukelele every night lately, and tonight, after he put it down, he started singing, “the taste. of love is sweeeet. and it makessss a fiery ring…i fell in-to a burning ring of fire. i went down down down and the flames went higher. and it burns, burns, burns, the ring of fire. the ring of fire”! It was adorable! Clearly, teacher Juan has made an impression on our li’l guy!

While Dylan’s been learning who knows what else beyond “Ring of Fire,” Cameron is making up new lyrics to her old tunes: while picking up veggies at the store the other day, she started singing, “cauli cauli flower” to the tune of “I have the Power” (check at about second 48…potty, potty power!).

Sometimes I wish I had a video camera embedded in my eye just so I can capture such spontaneous moments. They’re so precious!!!
