Our first morning in town, we met up with Uncle Michael at Le Pan Quotidien for brunch and then headed to his beautiful (and enviably clean) home afterwards. Chloe was as comfy as could be with him and, of course, the older kids were excited to see him.
Back at Michael’s house, we kept the kids from destroying the place.
And Carolyn and Evelyn came over, too! It took a while for the kids to overcome their shyness, but they eventually did. By the end of the visit, Dylan was letting Evelyn drive his new train (thanks, Uncle Michael!) and the two big girls were running up and down the upstairs hallway while Chloe tried to keep up!
Kids loved their gifts!
We offered to temporarily swap houses with Michael, but I don’t think he’ll take us up on that offer!
Later in the evening, we had dinner with the family, and the kids got to see Eli and Rocky.
Eli is apparently nearly as tall as Grandma Sharon (or is he taller??!?)…and he has new glasses!
After a yummy dinner (we had Indian food from Gangadin), the kids had a blast playing. It was so nice we could spend this time with them!
