The day before Father’s Day, we went geocaching with Nate’s and Finley’s families! It was the end of the school year and a great way to kick off summer.
All of the kids loved it and we loved seeing the kids being active and having fun.
We didn’t find the one of the caches we were looking for, despite the hint mentioning something about how “great” this hiding place was (so we looked in the grate)!
The first cache we found had Tom scrambling up a tree trunk! He immediately saw what he thought would be a great hiding place and, boom, there it was!
The last find was in a dogwood tree . Mariah was the master hint solver and eagle eye! Surprisingly, Chloe let David (Finley’s dad) carry her!
We went to a park to geocache, so we had a nice picnic in between and also enjoyed the playground. We love us these grown-ups–they brought a yummy dessert wine to go with the spread of sandwiches, stone fruit, strawberries, salad and veg sushi!
We had such a good time! Hopefully, we will have time to do another geocaching excursion with this crew.
