This past weekend, we went apple picking at Gizdich Ranch (where we’d previously gone for strawberry picking) and met up with other daycare families afterwards for some apple pie (Tom and I brought some vegan slices from New Leaf) and some of the most delicious apple cider we’d ever tasted!
Dylan was more interested in picking more strawberries — and sampling away — but he did eventually help us pick some apples (red and golden delicious).
Believe it or not, after apple-picking, we headed to Gilroy Gardens to see the Baby Blue Blues Band perform. Dylan was already tired, but he really wanted to see them (they are still a favorite band!) and we promised him, so we felt like we had to keep our word! Dylan, of course, was a trooper. He was eager to join in on the audience participation; he helped strum the guitar on one song, held Ray the Rhino’s hands and jumped on the trampoline for another, and he even danced along to the other songs!
We got to see some farm animals before we finally headed out…and, luckily, he sacked out on the way home!
Hi Dylan!
Alex here from The Baby Blue Blues Band! Thanks for helping me play my guitar! You were GREAT, and I really needed your help because BOY was I bushed from all that dancing around and singing!
Thanks so much for coming to our shows and being such a cool BLUEPEE!
Alex!
