We also managed to squeeze in a seder. It was late, but it is important to us to make sure the kids know Jewish tradition as well.
So hard to get a picture of the kids smiling, in-sync!
We didn’t get through the haggadeh (again!) and we had to eat before the afikomen, but it was a Friday, after school/work and nobody allots time for Jewish holiday celebrations, so we got off to a late start and, let’s face it, the kids don’t have enough patience yet.
This year, we went simple with the food: roasted veggies, HAKT’s charoset, matzoh ball soup, and a yummy lentil dish.
We had wine (except heather) and the kids had italian sodas.
Taliana found the afikomen! It was ingeniously hidden in a napkin that was placed on top of one of our speakers. This is such a common sight that nobody even suspected…not even me!! Tom had to provide a clue!
