The first week of summer came in a flash! Dylan graduated and then 5 days later, all of the kids started camp. At long last, it was Dylan’s turn for theater, so he started up with AAT and auditions for “Les Mis”. Honestly, I was worried. There are some super seriously talented singers in this age group so the competition for some featured parts was pretty stiff.
And, Dylan was indeed disappointed when he was called back for Gavrosh but he was not selected. Also, I was worried because “Les Mis” is not such a happy story…and it has some pretty adult themes! However, the directors modified some of the songs and I supposed they did some ‘splainin’, too!
So, while Dylan was auditioning, the girls did AAT summer camp: Moana in the mornings and Trolls in the afternoons.
