I made a little administrative error and forgot to transfer the domain name for this site in time, so it was down for about a week–I just changed hosts and I was hoping the transition would be seamless. Oh, well! In any event, a lot has happened. This picture is from “way back when….” The kids had just woken up (see Dylan’s lovely bed-head??) and, as usual, they were happy to hang out with each other.
These days, Cameron is usually the first one awake. She then starts swatting people in the heads (Dylan and I are the closest targets!) and attempts to make morning conversation. She’s very loud and chatty.
Luckily, Dylan loves her to pieces and, despite being totally groggy, he usually starts giggling at her and reaches out to take her hand.
Then, we make our way downstairs for breakfast, etc. Sometimes, we sit for a story before eating; other times, the kids just play and coo at each other….
