Well, Week 7 of summer included Chloe revisiting her Boardwalk experience! The first time riding anything there, she was pretty overwhelmed; this second time, though, she was ready!
We went on a Tuesday afternoon with Heather and the girls–I left the office a little early so the little girls and I could join the big kids! And, it could have been that the excitement all of the big kids had was infectious! So, when the big kids rode the big kid rides — and Dylan, now at about 42″, rode a lot of rides for the first time!!–I took the little girls to some old favorites.
The kids were in line for the Rock O Planes, and it was Tuesday evening, meaning $1 rides, so I picked up some tix and plopped Chloe into one of the Bulgy fish! She looked a bit skeptical and frowny, but when it was over, she signed (and said), “moh. moh” so we went on it again!
Next up were the Sea Dragons. Cameron was so brave and she went on her own while I rode with Chloe.
Cameron was so stoked to be able to be the “chaperone” on the boats and car rides!
By the time we got to Convoy, Chloe was totally at-ease. I let the girls ride in the cab and I rode above them outside.
Unfortunately, we had swim class that night, so we didn’t get a chance to squeeze in Cave Train or Ghost Blasters! So glad Chloe is now happy to ride! And, as for Dylan, he rode Pirate Ship, Sea Swings, Rock & Roll, and Cyclone for the first time (luckily, T. is tall enough to chaperone him and K. is tall enough to ride on her own!)!
